The well-renowned Thai Hotel Management company, Unicorn Hospitality, has revealed its grand endeavor to open its first Maldivian property in the early quarter of 2021, the ZAZZ Escapes Maldives which is a brand-new beach resort located on a beautiful private island, Villingilivaru, in South Ari atoll, less than 100 kilometers away from Male city. The hotel shall be reached by 25-minutes direct seaplane flight from Trans Maldives terminal in the capital or a stunning speedboat ride arranged by the resort itself that would take you 90 minutes across the serene Indian Ocean enjoying the unadulterated marine beauty and the visions of energetic flying fishes and acrobatic dolphins.

Thai hotel management company Unicorn Hospitality has announced plans to open its first property in Maldives, ZAZZ Escapes Maldives Resort, in early 2021.

The Maldives resort, being developed by Hong Kong-based Asia Prestige Management (APM) after the 2018 acquisition of Ranveli Island Resort, is part of a new expansion drive by Unicorn Hospitality, which currently operates six brands and white label management concepts: Unicorn Hotels & Resorts, Kly Hotels & Resorts, Hangout By Kly, Live By Kly, Zazz Hotels and The Unchained Collection.

Former three-star Ranveli Island Resort has been acquired by Hong Kong based Asia Prestige Management and will be rebranded as Zazz Escapes Maldives.

Due to open in 2022 the resort will be aiming to cater for young adults in a fun atmosphere, with a total of 101 villas on the beach and over water.

The island is based in the South Ari Atoll, about 30 minutes by seaplane from Male.
